Lensbaby Velvet
These gorgeous images are from Ashlee Krammes and were shot with a Lensbaby Velvet 85. I'm placing them here for two reasons: to share with my readers how beautiful they are as examples of what the Velvet lenses can create and, as inspiration for me to shoot with my Velvet more often.

I think what I love most about what she does with the Velvet 85 is that she uses it in so many creative ways. Clearly, her portraits with it are stunning and it is marketed by Lensbaby as a portrait lens, but her nature photography using the Velvet is equally as beautiful.
I say to my girls, "Go lay inside that red tree and pretend to be sleeping."
and they do not think I'm weird at all.

Beautiful images and I will visit her site. I'm so in love with my velvet 56. (It's tied with the two Edges I have for favorite.) I use a cropped sensor so the 56 made more sense than the 85 which I had originally planned to buy. Would love to see images from you with the Velvet!!
ReplyDeleteShe does such magical things with her Lensbaby. You are creating a lot of magic with your Velvet as well I might add. As you know, the Edge is my favorite but I did take the Velvet out the other day. I will have to post some soon. All my best.
