Lensbaby Love Interview

 

March of 2016 I was interviewed by a wonderful website, Lensbaby Love. It was my first interview and I was very excited to find it still archived online in 2021.

All of the images here as well as in the interview were shot with the discontinued, Lensbaby Muse. It was my first Lensbaby and while it took some time learning how to bend it to my will, because it's a completely manual 'bellows' type lens, once it clicked I was hooked.

 

 

I would be willing to bet that you could still find a Muse online somewhere with a little search effort and most likely at a crazy reasonable price.  I love all of the Lensbabies that I've shot with over the years and the Edge 80 Optic lives on my Nikon now, but this insane intentional blur, I've only ever been able to achieve with the Muse and it remains one of my favorite art lenses.
