Alchemy

 the truth is a magical beautiful wonderous tragedy

I find it very difficult to just take only one photograph of something that resembles magic. When I come upon something that I know is extraordinary, something that makes my heart jump and my head giddy, I will shoot that until I've exhausted every angle, every light, every perspective. When I find that something that makes me feel spontaneous love, I become all consumed and it overwhelms me.

These were the most amazing skeletons of earlier thistle wildflowers lit up from a sun setting. And, that I happened upon them at the very moment the sun was kissing them was what was truly magic. That kiss only lasts for a very few brief moments before the light begins to fade and pinpointing that magic moment on something that moves your soul and synchronizing the two elements, that's alchemy.
